Welcome to the Native & Natural Shore Land Tour! Join Minnesota property owners for a 3-hour bus tour of four beautiful & successful lake shore land restoration and preservation projects along the Gull Lake Chain of Lakes. The bus tour will begin at Sunshine's Summerhouse in Nisswa, where we will gather at 8 a.m and depart at 8:30 a.m.returning at approximately12:30 p.m. This outdoor event will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced landowners who found natural solutions to various landscape challenges, and learn from experts on how to create reslient shorelines and upland areas. It'll be a great opportunity to network and hear about funding opportunities, local resources, as well as to inspire your journey to create a native & natural shoreline. Information about participating in the Lake Steward program will also be provided. And, if you wish, stay for lunch (at-your-own-expense) at the Sunshine's Summerhouse restaurant to keep sharing and learning about shore land preservation!
